This loop takes you through some of the most charming destinations of Kumaon, including Nainital, Mukteshwar, Almora, Ranikhet, Kausani, and Binsar, with each destination offering a different experience. From peaceful lakes and panoramic Himalayan views to pine forests, ancient temples, local villages, and breathtaking sunsets, the journey showcases the diverse beauty of the region.
Unlike a conventional trekking expedition, the Kumaon Loop is a relaxed mountain holiday with short walks, sightseeing, nature experiences, and plenty of opportunities to explore local culture. Detailed Itinerary
Arrive at Kathgodam Railway Station, where our representative will meet you and begin the Kumaon Loop journey. Drive towards Nainital, one of Uttarakhand's most popular hill stations.
After check-in, spend the afternoon exploring the town and enjoy a peaceful walk around Mall Road and Naini Lake. You can also visit Naina Devi Temple or explore the local market.
Overnight Stay: Nainital
Start the day with local sightseeing in Nainital. Visit popular viewpoints such as Snow View Point and explore the beautiful surroundings of Naini Lake.
Later, drive towards Mukteshwar through picturesque mountain roads, forests, and small Kumaoni villages. On arrival, check in and enjoy the peaceful Himalayan atmosphere.
Overnight Stay: Mukteshwar
Begin the morning by exploring Mukteshwar. Visit the ancient Mukteshwar Temple and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding Himalayan ranges.
After breakfast, drive towards Almora. The route offers beautiful views of pine-covered hills and traditional villages. After reaching Almora, explore the local market and famous Bright End Corner.
Overnight Stay: Almora
After breakfast, proceed towards Binsar, a peaceful forest destination known for its rich biodiversity and spectacular Himalayan views.
Visit the Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary and take a nature walk through the dense oak and rhododendron forests. If weather conditions are clear, enjoy magnificent views of the Himalayan peaks from Zero Point.
Overnight Stay: Binsar
Enjoy a relaxed morning surrounded by forests before driving towards Kausani.
Known for its panoramic Himalayan views, Kausani is an excellent place to experience mountain sunsets. Visit Anasakti Ashram and explore the surrounding viewpoints.

Wake up early to enjoy the sunrise over the Himalayas. After breakfast, drive towards Ranikhet, a charming cantonment town surrounded by pine and cedar forests.
Visit Chaubatia Garden, Jhula Devi Temple, and local viewpoints. Spend the evening relaxing amidst the peaceful mountain surroundings.
Overnight Stay: Ranikhet
After breakfast, begin the return journey towards Kathgodam/Haldwani.
Enjoy the final views of the Kumaon hills before reaching Kathgodam Railway Station, marking the end of your Kumaon Loop Trip with beautiful memories of the Himalayas.
