About The Trek

Valley of Flowers Trek

The Valley of Flowers Trek is one of Uttarakhand's most beautiful Himalayan journeys, famous for its vast meadows covered with colourful alpine flowers during the monsoon season. Located in the Chamoli district, the valley is surrounded by dramatic Himalayan peaks and forms part of the Nanda Devi and Valley of Flowers National Parks.

The trek begins from Govindghat and passes through Ghangaria, the main base for exploring the valley. From Ghangaria, trekkers walk through lush forests, waterfalls, streams and mountain trails before entering the spectacular Valley of Flowers.

The combination of alpine landscapes, seasonal flowers, waterfalls and towering Himalayan peaks makes this trek ideal for travellers looking for a memorable nature and mountain experience.
