About The Trek
Vijay Top Trek
The Vijay Top Trek is an offbeat Himalayan adventure in the Uttarkashi region of Uttarakhand. Located around the Govind Wildlife Sanctuary and close to the Sankri region, this relatively lesser-known trail offers a peaceful alternative to some of the more crowded Himalayan treks.
The journey takes you through dense pine, oak and rhododendron forests, remote Himalayan villages, open alpine meadows and scenic ridgelines. The highlight of the trek is reaching Vijay Top at around 12,500 ft, where trekkers can enjoy expansive views of Himalayan peaks including Swargarohini, Bandarpoonch and Black Peak on clear days.
During winter, the landscape can be covered in snow, making the trek particularly attractive for trekkers looking for an offbeat snow adventure. In spring and summer, the forests and meadows become greener and more vibrant, while autumn generally brings clearer mountain views.
Vijay Top is a great choice for trekkers who want a combination of mountain scenery, forest trails, village culture, alpine meadows and a less-crowded trekking experience.
Taxes and additional charges may apply.
